Veronica Olivotto is currently in her third year of the Ph.D. program in Urban and Public Policy at The New School. Her specializations include urban adaptation and resilience, social vulnerability and environmental justice, knowledge systems, and GIS-enabled mapping and spatial analysis. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Heritage Studies at the University of Milan in Italy, a Masters in Ecotourism at Edinburgh University, and a Masters in Urban Development at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She has considerable experience in research and program work for entities such as UN-Habitat, the EU Program on Social Innovation, the Scottish Institute for Sustainable Development, and the NYC Dept. of Environmental Planning.
